Fun with Favicons

The theeory is that if you look up in the address bar of this web browser page you should see a funny little image in front of the URL (we address).  It looks like a round shield with an iron boss.. trust me, that's what it is.
I stumbled across this little charmer when playing around with one of my Blogger blogs' design page... in the upper left there was a way to add a "favicon".  I already knew what that was, the little symbol some really cool looking web sites have at the left end of its address bar.  I had been green with envy wanting to havea favicon of my own but had not managed to both get  one and make it stick.  Thanks to Blogger I can at least provide them for my blogs.

If you don't see the image in the address bar, look instead at the tab with the name of the blog elsewhere in your toolbars.  Not sure why they all did not show up, like the ones for Bosom Friends (there is supposed to be a labyris) or An Invvoluntary King: The Stories.... 

So how did I get the cute little images?  Well, I sorta stole them, using images I found lying about on the web.. but I used an easy tool to convert them for use as favicons.
